FitChips was founded on a desire to create something new and exciting in the retail sector, which capitalized on the worldwide trend for freshly prepared food, with a unique and healthy twist.

The founders, Kaye & Jackie were both from the corporate world, but as young mums, they were increasingly aware of the alarming facts about fast foods and the obesity epidemic. 

They were inspired by the idea of revamping our favourite fast food into a healthier option and spent the next two years in research and development of the concept. 

In April, 2006, they opened their first store in Midland, Western Australia and FitChips was born...
